Red Tractor Assured Food Standards


Independently approved standards for food and farming.

We are proud to produce Red Tractor Farm Assured food.

The way in which Red Tractor food is farmed is regularly checked by independent experts to ensure good standards of animal welfare, traceability and environmental protection.

Look out for the Red Tractor logo when out shopping; with a flag of the country of origin and the words 'Assured Food Standards' surrounding the Red Tractor (see below).

Countryside Stewardship

Manor Farm undertakes Countryside Stewardship as part of the Entry Level Scheme (ELS) and the Higher Level Scheme (HLS) administered by Natural England.

Zero Tillage Direct Sowing Drill

Rural Surrey LEADER has provided a grant which part-funds a zero tillage, direct sowing drill which utilises the latest technology to establish crops; the innovative techniques cause very low soil disturbance, eliminating erosion, minimising herbicide use, reducing the use of fossil fuels whilst retaining high levels of nutrients.

CEVAS - Countryside Educational Visits
Accreditation Scheme

In April 2007 Manor Farm received full accreditation for hosting schools visits. This National scheme has been developed by Access to Farms, DEFRA and Department for Education and Skills. The accreditation has two elements; training for farmers working with children during farm visits and a farm assessment. Accredited farmers are entitled to display this trained personnel logo.
