Laurence drove the combine harvester to Betchworth very early this morning before many cars were on the roads, in readiness for the ‘Cowpie Rally’ tomorrow.  The Cowpie Rally is in its 28th year, a country show organised by the Surrey Federation of Young Farmers Clubs. There will be displays of agricultural machinery, Crocodile Encounters, falconry, fly fishing and in the main ring; motorcycle stunts and the Royal Navy Parachute Display. The weather should be fine this year after the drenching of  2008, the cowpie rally is well worth a visit and great fun for all the family.

YFC's are youth clubs for young people who love life and the great outdoors, so you don't need to be a farmer to be a 'Young Farmer'!
They have junior clubs for 10-15 year olds and senior clubs for the 16-26s where you can learn new skills, have fun in the countryside, go on activity weekends and have a great social life with people of your own age.
