Robin Atkins 1939 - 2007

I would like to pay tribute to our landlord at Normandy who sadly passed away this month.  It was always a pleasure to see Robin, we would sit and chat about farming and our families and Robin always asked after our boys to hear of their latest adventures.  On one occasion when the boys hens had started to lay, Robin insisted on buying some eggs to support their entrepreneurial enterprise!

We last saw Robin in late August when he came out to see us harvesting wheat in one of his fields, we shall miss those occasions and his gentle and genuine nature.

Robin has touched the lives of many people and that was most apparent today, with standing room only at the chrematoriam.
