Christopher was invited back to compete in the 2015 National Ploughing Match in Kent which was a little too far to drive our little red tractor, so it took a ride on a trailer.

It was good weather and the ploughing seemed to go quite well.
We have kindly been lent a plough by Ted Goldup for the past few years but think it might be time to invest in something slightly newer and with a depth wheel.

Laurence and I are volunteer parish path wardens undertaking clearance and way-marking and reporting any problems to Surrey County Council Rights of Way team. This week I have been trimming back the entrance to a footpath and our hedge contractor will trim the surface vegetation further along the path.
This morning the first of six Belted Galloways calved; they were due from mid September!

I have named the heifer calf October
October is the 132nd calf born into the Wotton herd and her dam, Polly was the 32nd.
