The combine began to roll again this afternoon, but only for thirty minutes before a rock was taken up into the header and broke the chains; a clutch is meant to prevent that from happening but it’s just bad luck to have happened here.

It took hours to fix the chains, three people to lift them and then return to the field to insert them back in the combine with the engineers.

By the evening they were on the move again; one cut round the field and the chains broke again.  So it's back to the yard again in the morning to start again.
