Sunday was perfectly peaceful, with enough snow to create a beautiful winter landscape and prevent the A25 being used as the usual weekend race track.

The Hampshire Down sheep look like teddy bears with snowy beards and the grass they moved onto three weeks ago has disappeared overnight.

Here's Spot Jnr checking for soil beneath the strange white stuff, while the Saddleback gilts are more interested in food.
