If you’ve noticed an unusual looking crop in nearby fields, it’s the hemp which we’re growing for GOOD Oil; a natural and pure culinary oil of cold pressed hemp seed which is sold in leading supermarkets and health shops.

Hemp may be mistaken for an alternative member of the same family with similar aromas when in bloom. However hemp, which can grow to 10 ft is simply full of GOODness and cannot give you a high.

Power harrow drill combination: sowing hemp

Henry Braham and Glynis Murray began by growing hemp on their farm in Devon to produce fibre used in BMW car doors. But it was only when they picked and tasted the hemp seeds in the fields that they were inspired to develop a culinary oil and now other farmers are growing the hemp for Braham & Murray to meet the increasing demand.

The seeds are harvested in September for GOOD Hemp Oil and Hemp Protein and the straw makes Hempcrete an eco-friendly building material.  The fibre continues to be used in BMW series 3 and 5 and the dust cleaned from the seed is supplied to worm farms!  It’s a very versatile crop.  http://www.goodwebsite.co.uk/goodhemp.php

Over 25,000 products can be manufactured from hemp, including hair conditioner, insulation, carpets, paper, and perfume.  Hemp rope won’t rot like traditional rope and as a food is easily absorbed by the body. http://www.goodwebsite.co.uk/goodhealth.php
