We are back on track with 75 calves arriving over the past week. Each calf must arrive with it's personal passport and the ear tag number is checked against this document. In order to prevent a reoccurance of Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis (IBR) in our youngstock, the calves are being treated on arrival at Manor Farm.

Every one is busy on the farm as usual.

Laurence created a diet for the cattle a few years ago which helps them grow to the maximum live-weight gain, this diet is mixed in a feeder wagon and fed to the cattle by Donald. Roy has baled the last of the straw, calves have been de-budded by Amanda, Sam and Katherine (trainee vet), David has been moleing, Casper subsoiling, Dick fencing and topping and Laurence and I are office-bound!

I am writing some farm literature today and Laurence is is putting together a bid to farm some more land.  Laurence is a driving force behind this business, without growth in our business where would we
all be?
