As soon as we arrived home the boys went out to check and feed the pigs but came running back in shouting ‘Phoebe’s having her piglets!’ Phoebe has a litter of nine; four are pink with spots, three are black and white and two are black. 

 

Higgledy piggledy 

As Phoebe laid down to give birth to the last two piglets, she almost squashed two that were beneath her. So far, she seems a lot less vocal than Prudence in warning her youngsters that she is on the move.  

Falling asleep on the teat!

George is still in the barn keeping an eye on things, he wants to sleep out there tonight!
