I am preparing for this evening’s farm walk which starts at 6.30 at West Lane barns.  By then I hope to have the completed Historical information board which I have been working on over the past few months.  Eventually it will be put up beside one of the public footpaths for all to see.

The maize header is now on the combine harvester.

Laurence tried to cut some maize yesterday but it’s not fit yet so we’ll give it a few more days and try again. David is mucking out the sheds at Paddington and the muck is being carted to Home Field by Luke, ready for spreading. Roy is topping off fields at Normandy and a contractor is spraying off weeds in the stubbles up Raikes Lane.
