Animal Health are TB testing here today.  Thirty one animals will be tested over six different sites.

The first step is to trim the hair on a small area of the neck. The skin is then pinched together and a measurement taken of the thickness. Two injections are given into the same trimmed area of skin, firstly the Avian TB followed by the Bovine TB.  These animals will be checked in 72 hours for any reaction.  Naturally we hope there won't be any positive reactors as this would cause our farm to be placed under TB restrictions.
